Krystal® SL
Krystal® SL High Solids Conversion Varnish was developed to be used on any wood surface where a durable, high-performance, moisture and chemical resistant finish is needed. Krystal® SL is a ready to spray water white, non-yellowing, HAPs compliant, two component amino-alkyd finishing system ideal for use on kitchen and bathroom cabinets, display fixtures, office, dormitory, household, institutional, and laboratory furniture.
Purpose: Test the ability of the finish to withstand substances typically found in kitchens and bathrooms. Exceeds AWI specifications for household chemical resistance for SYSTEM 5 conversion varnish and SYSTEM 11 catalyzed polyurethane. Contact and dry time of each chemical is in accordance to AWI and KCMA test procedures.
Krystal has undergone rigorous quality testing to verify performance and application characteristics. The M.L. Campbell laboratory has formulated Krystal to meet or exceed the required performance levels established by KCMA for finishes. Krystal has been tested utilizing the following ASTM and KCMA test methods: 5=Excellent, 4=Very Good, 3=Good, 2=Fair, 1=Poor
