Resistant™ High-Performance Pigmented Varnish
Resistant™ Post-catalyzed Pigmented Varnish is a two-component pigmented enamel (amino-alkyd). Provides an excellent full body (high solids) finish that is scratch and mar resistant and provides excellent moisture resistance. Resistant™ quick drying formula is suitable for automatic drying production line. Formulated with no HAPS solvent and ultra low formaldehyde release. M.L. Campbell® Resistant™ Finishes meet World E-1 Standards.
Purpose: Test the ability of the finish to withstand substances typically found in kitchens and bathrooms. Exceeds AWI specifications for household chemical resistance for SYSTEM 3 post-catalyzed lacquer and SYSTEM 5 conversion varnish. Contact and dry time of each chemical is in accordance to AWI and KCMA test procedures.
Resistant has undergone rigorous quality testing to verify performance and application characteristics. The M.L. Campbell laboratory has formulated Resistant to meet or exceed the required performance levels established by KCMA for finishes. Resistant has been tested utilizing the following ASTM and KCMA test methods: 5=Excellent, 4=Very Good, 3=Good, 2=Fair, 1=Poor.
